Brunswick and Sacred Heart Repeat at U.S. Middle School Championships

The brunswick School and Convent of the Sacred Heart, both hailing from Greenwich, CT, each dropped only one match during the course of the weekend to defend their respective Boys’ and Girls’ Division 1 titles at the 2011 U.S. Middle School Team Squash Championships in New Haven, CT.

The Brunswick School topped Chestnut Hill academy of Philadelphia, 5-0, in the boys’ final, while Convent of the Sacred Heart withstood a furious challenge from Greenwich Academy to hold onto the girls’ crown by a score of 4-1. St. Lukes School of New Cannan, CT, broke the Greenwich strangle-hold by topping Lake County of Chicago, IL, 3-2, to take the top spot in Boys’ Division 2.
