The Buffalo Squash Racquets Association honored Ed Jocoy by naming their season opening tournament after him. The BSRA had a reception to present Ed with a plaque and to unveil a second plaque at Ed’s home club, Buffalo Tennis and Squash. He was instrumental in starting the local Women’s and Junior’s Squash development. He mentored and gave lessons to many players. Ed served as the association’s first webmaster along with just about every position within BSRA. Ed Jocoy has been a long-time member of the Buffalo Squash Hall of Fame. Ed and his wife Barbara, who is always at his side at squash events, have three daughters and one granddaughter.
