Demolition and construction has begun on the Arlen Specter US Squash Center, on track to open in the fall of 2020 for the U.S. Open. Located inside the historic Armory building on the campus of Drexel University in University City, Philadelphia, the Specter Center will become the home of US Squash and one of the world’s most inclusive and innovative facilities. The Specter Center will be a model of broad community engagement and access in partnership with SquashSmarts and Drexel University, host exceptional events, house the U.S. Squash Hall of Fame and the US Squash headquarters, and provide support for Team USA athletes as they strive to be the world’s best.
