Looking for a fresh pair of shoes for the court? Here are some of the latest models from a few best-selling lines of squash shoes.
Asics Gel Rocket 7
At $50-60, the price is right for the Gel Rocket range from Asics, now on its 7th iteration.
While the Gel Rockets are marketed primarily towards the volleyball crowd, prior versions of this shoe have been popular with both club and professional squash
players. Some feel these don’t provide quite enough ankle support.
Adidas Adipower Stabil 11
Top-end court shoe from Adidas. $90 – $110.
This shoe and its prior models have long been a favorite among the top men’s pro players. The soles come in dark colors, but they are non-marking. Some say these shoes rise up a bit too high on the ankles. There’s also a women’s version (not pictured).
Asics Gel Flashpoint 2
Stand out on court with a bit of colorful flair. OK, extensive colorful flair. $90.
This shoe and its prior styles have been spotted on the women’s pro tour. There’s also a men’s version (not pictured).
