Simon Parke won the 1999 S.G. Cowan U.S. Open in stunning style. On back-to-back nights, the Englishman beat Peter Nicol and Jonathon Power in five-game matches. Parke, after reaching world No. 3, retired in 2006 and is now married with one daughter. He coaches at Chapel Allerton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club, is the head coach of the Leeds University men’s and women’s teams and, in 2014, won the British 35+ for the second time.

Thierry Lincou won the 2004 Pace Canadian Classic in Toronto and the 2004 men’s World Championship in Qatar to make his only Squash Magazine cover. The former world No. 1 retired in October 2012 and now lives in Boston with his family. Besides privately coaching a number of players, including Amanda Sobhy, Lincou is in the middle of his first season as the men’s head coach at MIT.
