U.S. SQUASH announced the recipients of two of their most prestigious awards to outstanding members of the junior squash community. The DeRoy Sportsmanship Award, presented annually to a ranked male and female junior player in their senior year “who has risen above the expectations of sportsmanship through superb tact and graciousness both on and off the court” was awarded to Rachel Leizman of Pepper Pike (OH) and Scott Chapin of New York (NY). Leizman will attend Princetion University in the fall while Chapin will attend Dartmouth College.

In its fourth year of recognition, the William T. Ketcham Award, acknowledging one female and one male ranked junior squash player who has demonstrated tremendous dedication and growth throughout the season, honored Reeham Sedky of Sammamish (WA) and Pierson Broadwater from Bronxville (NY) for their on-court improvement.
