Teams from Greenwich (CT) swept all three division titles at the 2012 U.S. Middle School Team Squash Championships held at Yale University in New Haven. Brunswick won the Boy’s Division 1 title, Greenwich Academy the Girls Division 1 crown, while Eastern Middle School earned the top prize in Boy’s Division 2.
Brunswick dominated the draw, sweeping every match throughout the weekend, including a 5-0 win in the final over Chestnut Hill Academy of Philadelphia. The Greenwich Academy Girls were every bit as strong, equalling the dominance of the Brunswick boys, taking the championship with a 5-0 win over Greenwich Country Day School. Second seeded Eastern Middle School looked very strong on their way to the Boy’s D2 title, winning a thrilling final, 3-2, against MS45 of the Bronx.
