Screen Shot 2014-09-26 at 11.31.41 AMTeams from the Boston area took home the top prize in each division at the 2011 National League Finals in Cambridge, MA. This inaugural event brought top adult teams from throughout the country to the Murr Center courts on the campus of Harvard University for the culminating event of the 2010-2011 sanctioned league season.

In the 3.0 Division, the Boston Racquet Club took home the top prize with a dominating performance, dropping only one game throughout the weekend. The 3.5 Boston Racquet Club squad duplicated that effort, also only losing one game, on their way to winning the championship.

The 4.0/4.5 combined division saw the most competitive matches of the weekend, with Milton Academy winning the title, but not before being severely tested in the semifinals by the Germantown Cricket Club of Philadelphia—narrowly winning a points tiebreaker. In the final, Milton Academy was again pushed to the brink, winning another tiebreaker—this time by games won—over the Printing House team from New York City. The University Club of Boston was also recognized as being the top 4.0 team in the combined draw.

The 5.0/5.5 bracket produced some memorable squash, with large crowds gathered to watch some of the best league players in the country. In the end, TOG 1 and TOG 2 proved too strong for the the rest of the field, TOG 1 winning all four of their matches while TOG 2 dropped only one, as they earned the top prizes in their respective 5.5 and 5.0 divisions.
