David Snyder (MD) defeated Geoffrey Keating (MD) in the Boys final while Caroline Sargent (WA) topped Hadley Chu (NY) in the Girls finale to win their respective U19 Divisions at the 2010 U.S. Junior Bronze Squash Championships in New Haven, CT. Over 240 players competed in the final singles event on the 2009-2010 U.S. Junior Championship calendar. Snyder, who won the BU17 Division at last year’s Bronze Championship, survived a marathon semifinal against Karim Amir (NY), winning 12-14, 11-9, 11-8, 5-11, 11-9, before sweeping Keating, 11-6, 11-2, 11-7, to win the title. Sargent was never seriously challenged as she took home the crown without dropping a game, stopping Chu,11-6, 11-6, 11-2 in the championship match.
