Peter Nicol is a name synonymous with excellence and success in world professional squash. Since retiring from the PSA Tour three years ago, he has pursued squash with a promoter’s hat on in the form of his company, Eventis which has staged the Canary Wharf Championships in London.
Now comes the Nicol Champions Academy being launched in a partnership with John Nimick and Event Engine, Inc., this summer with four weeks of camps for “the serious and aspiring players who want to lay the groundwork for improvement and success.” That’s right, Nicol will bring his resume of tournament success (four U.S. Opens, three Tournament of Champions, two British Opens, and four Gold Medals in the Commonwealth Games) and five years as World No. 1 to Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT) and The Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA) in July and August.
