After five years of scouring the squash world for daily content, the planet’s foremost website for covering the professional game has decided to shut down. Citing an inability to secure adequate funding to continue operations, SquashSite—the brainchild of Steve Cubbins and Framboise Gommendy—had been in negotiations with the Professional Squash Association to enter into a financial partnership with the men’s tour (details were not disclosed), but those negotiations came to an abrupt halt at the World Open in Manchester (ed. note: at press time, the World Open had just begun and will be covered in full in our December edition).
