On the heels of the retirement of longtime PSA Board member Jack Herrick, the PSA recently announced that Richard Bramall will succeed Herrick. Bramall, a British lawyer specializing in commercial, employment and insurance law, also possesses wide interests in sports including squash, soccer and motor sport—and he is also the director of Pontefract Squash Club in England.

“Squash is clearly at a very exciting and progressive stage with the sport and player profile increasing, which is in turn raising Tour revenue,” commented Bramall, “and I will endeavor to play my part in ensuring that the trend continues.”

PSA has also appointed a new CEO, and that man is Richard Graham. Graham brings to the table considerable experience in sports marketing. While the Chief Operating Officer at Parallel Media Group (in the UK), the company raised £5 million in new sponsorship revenue. Graham also worked with various sports federations, including the Lawn

Tennis Association, the Lipton International Players Championships in Miami, FL, and British Equestrian Promotions.

“I believe that squash has a strong base from which the Tour, the PSA’s commercial partnerships and the sport’s media coverage can each be developed,” said Graham. “It is in these three areas that I hope to focus my energy from the outset.”
