Australian David Palmer, now living in Boston, plans to play all five events leading up to the Players Cup in Boston.

Though the first event (Bear Stearns Tournament of Champions) of the newly formed  Players Cup Squash Circuit will have been complete by the time you read this (and possibly the second event—EBS Dayton Open—depending on the speed of the US Postal Service), you can follow all of the excitement on the circuit’s official website, PlayersCupSquash.com. You’ll find up to the minute player rankings within the Players Cup Circuit and direct links to all the latest Circuit results and updates.

John Nimick, Players Circuit founder and three-tournament promoter through his company, EventEngine, explains, “We wanted to make sure the new site provided a centralized location for squash fans to watch the progress of their favorite international stars as they play at each of the Circuit events. The top six earn their way directly into the Players Cup and the next six are invited to qualify. The rankings will be updated immediately after each of the five Circuit tournaments. As the Circuit progresses, we will add features, photos and information to the site.”

In addition to the Tournament of Champions and the Dayton Open, the final three world-class events making up the Circuit include the PACE Canadian Classic, the West Coast Bank of Oregon Open and the Davenport Pro Championships in Virginia. The culminating event will be the $50,000 Players Cup in Boston, March 4-7, an eight-man single elimination championship over four nights.
