The CherryPharm Team USA Tour provides a competitive environment and format for selecting players to represent the United States in international competition.  The final selection tour event to determine the squad that will represent the United States at the 2007 Men’s World Team Championships this December in Chennai, India, will be held at the Athletic Club in Buffalo, New York, the weekend of October 19-21.  The Team Trials, to be contested among the top finishers in point standings in Cincinnati during the first weekend in November, will serve to finalize the team of four players. Current point leaders Jamie Crombie and Christopher Gordon are deadlocked at the top with Preston Quick, Julian Illingworth and Damian Walker bunched closely behind.

The tour rolls into a new cycle in November at the Rhode Island Squash Open, which will be held November 23-25 in Newport, Rhode Island. The tour will pick up again after the new year with stops in St. Louis, MO (January 11-13), Southport, CT (January 25-27), and Atlanta, GA (March 13-16), where the S.L. Green U.S. Men’s Championship will be held.

The 2008 CherryPharm Team USA Women’s Tour begins in January 2008 and ends with the Team Trials in June. Like the men, the women compete for points to represent the US at the Women’s World Team Championships being contested in December 2008 in Cairo, Egypt.
