US Squash welcomes Conor O’Malley as our Senior Manager of Events and Sponsorship. A graduate of Denison University where he played for and captained the squash team, O’Malley got his start in squash playing varsity at Pomfret Boarding School. After college, O’Malley moved to Chicago where he served as the Assistant Squash Professional at the University Club of Chicago. In this role, O’Malley also served as the Assistant Tournament Director of the well-known Windy City Open, the richest prize money event in North America for men’s Professional squash.
O’Malley was also instrumental in establishing METROSquash, the first Chicago urban squash and education program at the University of Chicago, now entering its second year. O’Malley founded the program and spearheaded the search for a full-time Executive Director. O’Malley also co-founded PureSquash, a successful squash merchandising website.
At US Squash, O’Malley will manage our national championships, run the CherryPharm Team USA Tour, and enhance our partnerships with promoters across the country. He will also manage our sponsorship relationships related to our events and create opportunities for additional sponsorships for the Association.
