Rachael Grinham has an all-time batting average of .600 at the Hurghada Squash International in Egypt. In the last five years, she has only struck out against Carol Owens, back in 2003, and Egypt’s Omneya Abdel Kawy in 2006. Grinham and Kawy have faced off in the final in each of the last four years, and this year the elder Grinham threw three straight strikes at the 21-year-old. Though Kawy had more fans in the stands than Grinham, she did not have a full home field advantage, as Grinham has been based in Cairo for seven years.
